How do I activate Server Check if I use it within a local network only or if my firewall does not allow access to the internet?

Server Check requires internet access for license key activation, and also to periodically (usually once a day) keep your license key valid and to check for software updates.

If you use Server Check on a local network only, or if your firewall blocks the ports that Server Check uses for license activation and validity checks, an IT technician may need to grant internet access and turn off firewalls and virus protection on your computer or enter an exception for Server Check to allow internet access.
